Fractal
landscapes are depictions of places that are not real,
but feel like they must exist somewhere. Traditional Euclidian
geometry is obsolete
in terms of describing the universe
in which
we live. A mountain is not a cone, the horizon is not a
curve, and the shoreline is not a straight line. Fractal
geometry can accurately represent the real shapes in the
universe, from galaxies and stars to molecules and microscopic
life.
